Legionella Awareness Training

Introduction

Awareness of Legionnaires disease and the potentially deadly effects has grown in recent years. With each major outbreak with associated illness and fatalities followed by another high profile prosecution it’s now even more important that organisations and individuals understand their legal duties and the consequences of failure to comply with legislation.

Who will benefit?

This training will be of benefit to managers, supervisors and employees who are involved in the control of buildings and their maintenance. This course would also benefit company owners and directors who have a responsibility for health and safety and require a sound overview of the issues surrounding Legionella control, legislation and best practice procedures.

Training Method

A mixture of PowerPoint presentation, DVD, interaction with course tutor and end of course test paper.

Duration

Half a day 

We usually aim to start courses at 9am and finish by 12.30pm
