General Health & Safety

SC-001

Health and Safety Awareness

Introduction

Over 200 people are killed every year in accidents at work and over one million are injured. A further two million suffer from illnesses caused or made worse by their work. Therefore, the need for businesses to address health and safety issues has never been greater. No business can afford to neglect the law, however many do not realise the full extent of their obligation. The law requires that employees are provide with the necessary information, instruction and training that is needed to ensure, so far as is reasonable practical,  their health, safety and welfare.

Who will benefit?

This course is recommended for all employees. This course extends the induction course given to all new employees and provides a foundation for further training modules.
